Although soccer is not a sport in the United States, the history of American football is one of the longest around, just like England or Scotland. When England went to a set of rules of football, they were immediately taken to a new world, where the Americans have learned to love the sport growing, just another game, which has grown strong roots in the United at the time: baseball. In reality, the American Football Association is the second oldest sports league in America, when a Major League Baseball.
It’s clear from the history of football does not initiate the U.S. professional league, even if (what we today call professional). Players often wear
American football (or USFA) was one of the first to join FIFA and as such, Team USA took part in the early World Cups, although the game had begun to be eclipsed by baseball or basketball. Players usually wear Paul Hornung jerseys in the training. With American football also on the rise, the organization adopted a new name to avoid confusion and called itself the American Football Association. But the history of American football would soon see a new change in the name of its Board of Directors in 1974 when the USSFA dropped “Football” from his roof and instead adopted the title of United States Soccer Federation, which is still used today.
So many wonder if the U.S. leaves the history of football so soon, because football is not the main sport in the U.S.? Players often wear Roy Williams jerseys in the training. Well, the truth is that the relatively modest performance of the national side men in the early 20th century, along with high-rise baseball, basketball, football and hockey, has meant that the people soon lost interest in football and how the American boys were so many options, soccer slowly went out of fashion.
But with performances by more good men’s soccer team from the United States and the enormous success of the women’s soccer team (who managed to get the first trophy in the history of soccer in the United States and is still one of the world powers in today’s game), football is back to its rightful place and with children becoming more American, it promotes the school as a start-up sports it looks promising for the future of American soccer.
